MIT Forecasting

Forecasting is a systematic practice of attempting to answer questions about future events (source). It’s an interdisciplinary field devoted to making probabilistic predictions about the future, then tracking and testing those predictions against the real world. By following their predictions, forecasters can determine their accuracy and improve their forecasting abilities.

At MIT Forecasting, we aim to support and practice forecasting in all respects — hosting workshops, speakers, and tournaments!
